Democracy may be a word familiar to most, but everyone should have a lot of questions on it. In my opinion, democracy is that everyone should have same rights and same opportunities to participate everything in the society. Not only for the rich but also for the poor. No matter what kind of people you are, how much money you have, even what status you are, everyone should be treat equally.
Take Taiwan for example, we have laws、government and even election. These things let us feel that we are free in the society, but actually we still have a lot of limits in our life. Men who are eighteen years old can not leave Taiwan without government permission. Many situations let us thinking about what is real”democracy”?
To sum up, money almost represents power in modern society.We still have many unfair thing to solve.Democracy should not be a word but should be spirit in our life.
